Detailed description of Hillview Golf Course
Hillview Golf Course is a Public, 18 hole golf course located in North Reading, Massachusetts.
Hillview Golf Course opened in 1931.
There is a distinct difference between the front 9 and the back 9, with the front playing longer and somewhat flatter, and the back playing up and down some large hills.
The course was built on rolling terrain, so expect many uneven lies. Water hazards (ponds) come into play on four holes. Fifteen of the greens are well bunkered.
The player friendly course plays to a par-69. The course measures 5773 yards from the blue tees, 5290 from the white tees, and 4521 from the red tee markers. Golfers will feel comfortable off the tee and will be challenged with their approach shots requiring precise shots into the greens.

I PLAY IN A LEAGUE HERE, IF I DID NOT I WOULD NOT BE THERE, I UNDERSTAND COURSES IN THE AREA HAD A BAD WINTER, HOWEVER THE SMART THING TO DO WOULD GIVE A 5 OR 10 DOLLAR DISCOUNT , AND THEM I MIGHT PLAY IT OTHER DAYS...IF U WERE IN N.H. OR MAINE U WOULD GET A DISCOUNT, IN MASS THEY JUST KEEP ON TRYING TO GET THE MONEY... THE GREENS HAVE BEEN LOUSY FROM DAY ONE AND THEY STILL ARE....AND IT APPEARS NO ONE IN THE PRO SHOP REALLY CARES....THE PRO IS A GOOD GUY , HOWEVER HE SHOULD GIVE THE LEAGUES A FREE NITE, THAT IS HOW BAD IT IS.........................
